Hi all,
Would golf clubs be fine for the free baggage allowance on Mad -Lhr on IB that you get with one world status?

I know ba class sports equipment as standard baggage allowance but unsure with IB?

Unfortunately IB considers a golf back “special luggage” and you need to pay separately (cheaper online than at the airport).

The only exception is long haul where sport equipment can be check-in for free (as part of your luggage allowance).
