So I booked one night for Radisson Blu at Manchester airport around mid September due to an early flight next morning.
Mrs detective read an online review in 2022 May, says at least one room is infected by bedbugs, now she doesn’t want to stay there anymore.
Just out of curiosity, is the situation generally been improved for bed bugs?

Does your Missus always rely on 2 year old reviews when making decisions?
If there were several and from the past couple of months then it would be a concern but one from 2 years ago ?
All I can say is that just like software bugs if a hotel has a problem in, say, its plumbing or aircon, it’s highly likely that unless the building has a really serious refurb the problem will reappear and keep recurring over time.
On other types of bugs than software bugs, Nope I’m out. The only other remaining hotel would have to be a fleapit for me to brave anywhere with bedbugs reported.

Me too, there is no way I would stay in a hotel that had a mention of bedbugs even if it was 2 years ago. You literally only need to bring one home with you on your suitcases etc and you will have a mega infestation problem within weeks.
