    Hi

    I’ve had the paid avios card since May on my second statement , despite me spending over 4K I’ve not earned any avios or received my welcome bonus

    I’ve called customer service numerous times , keep getting fobed off saying points can take 8 weeks to post etc , have sent a snail mail to Barclaycard , no response / ack yet

    Is there a known issue . Wife account has no problems with her paid card

    Any advice appreciated

    Is anything showing as pending in the Barclays App?

    I also got mine in May, and hit the spend target within 2 weeks, but I don’t think everything had cleared before the first statement was created. It’s showing now as >50k pending in the app, so I logged in this morning to see if it had posted to my BAEC account, but not yet, I got mixed up with the 2nd day of the month vs 2nd WORKING day of the month, so should expect to see it on Tuesday.

    Nope nothing at all , last 2 months it’s showing 0

    I’m not using the card now as no point if not earning any avios.

    My Avios earned from spending got posted to my BA account today despite not posting for the past 2 months, however welcome bonus and enhanced bonus 50,000 points has not been posted even though the Barclaycard App says that they are pending as of 2 weeks ago.

    Haven’t had mine either. Hit the bonus target towards the end of June and the app clearly tells me that the points will be transferred “on the second working day of the next month”.

    Annoyingly I’ve triggered the 50k sign up bonus just after month end. The 50k is listed as pending in the app, if I downgrade now to the free version will the bonus still be paid or do I have to wait another month?

    I believe you now need to trigger it by pushing the button. I am on the same boat, I selected the voucher as reward well in advance, spent over the required threshold and nothing happened, even after the month end, so I got charged for a new cycle with no voucher.
    I believe they did it so people can actually choose consciously, ie. can make an educated choice/change their mind before applying the reward.
    In my case, I would want to see the voucher on my BA account before downgrade

    Guess the question you need to ask yourself is if you are going to complain if you downgrade before the points are swept across and you don’t receive them…

    for me it depends where I want to fly, if its in the BA network then the voucher is best, but the far east for example I get more value out of the points and moving them to Qatar

    OP. Did you sort your problem? I have the exact same thing. I joined in May and the app states I’ve earned no points and have no points pending. I’ve spoken to Barclays several times and keep getting told to call Avios and spoken to Avios twice and get told to call Barclays. I stopped using a cash back card in order to earn points, so I’m out of pocket too. No one seems to be able to sort it!

    Not worth the hassle, if you downgraded and did end up having to deal with their customer services department you’d wished you’d paid that extra £20.

    I signed up during the promotion period, attained my welcome bonus. Yet was only credited with 25k avios, been trying to sort this with customer services for maybe 2 months now. First it was wait for the full 50k to post, now they have lodged a query with their “Avios team” yet every time I request an update at the times they give me to check back in on, I keep getting fobbed off.

    It was fixed after I had emailed the chairman of Barclays , there exec team fixed in a week , it was an it issue with my account , CS would of never been able to fix the issue
