Forums Other Destination advice Paris restaurants suitable for young kids on Amex offer

  • 39 posts

Hi everyone – heading to Paris for the Paralympics with an 8 year old and 5 year old twins in tow.

Lots of Amex restaurants in Paris – but does anyone have any recommendations for kid suitable, and without generating a colossal bill.

Appreciate this combo may not exist but any ideas welcome…..

Have a look at CRÉATURES in the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann department store.

It’s on the rooftop so you get a great view, is really casual (we had a toddler in tow) and has a good range of food good quality at reasonableish prices

That looks an excellent choice – thanks jumpersforgoalposts

We did both Creatures and Coya with a (then) toddler in tow. Creatures has good views, weather allowing, but the service we received was horrendous (our pushchair annoyed them). YMMV of course.
Coya was all around a good restaurant with a broad enough menu for a young family.

Daroco bourse was okay for pizzas.

Thanks – see Daroco 16 also on the list – more options than I expected!

Just to follow-up on this we went to Daroco 16 which I recommend for young families – about 25/30 minutes walk from Eiffel Tower with a completely different feel to the tourist areas.
Kids menu for EUR13 and the sort of set-up where the kids get colouring on arrival but feels adult enough as well. There is also an outside terrace (more a fenced street area) if you are worried about kids disturbing the main restuarant, but it was all pretty chilled.
Spent just over the Amex amount on a family of 5 and everyone had what they wanted.

@alastairtravel great result. Will make a note as our criteria are similar.

We scanned through a list for Rome in a few months and nothing applicable – maybe a detour via Paris needed 🙂 We spent ages visiting resto websites to try to look for suitable stuff. Congrats.

Thanks for the feedback – will add to our list next time we’re in Paris.
