Part point pay not counting for status

Before covid, I had used part pay points for some bookings and they still counted towards stays, nights and points (for the cash amount I actually paid) and subsequently towards my diamond status.

I just completed a night with a rather minimal points element and have been awarded none of them at all.

Does anyone know if there has been a policy change here?

All stays booked through Hilton count for status and you should have received points.
