When I took out the Plat card, one of the bonuses alongside MR points was the £200 travel credit.
Can someone remember how it worked. Did I book using AMEX Travel and they credit the £200 after your stay or they took it off the bill (I have booked and used it (including having the £200 credit on the booking, just can’t remember which way round it was) Thanks
We booked our travel online and the £200 was credited instantly to the invoice and so we paid the total amount minus the £200.
i.e. not credited later but subtracted at the point of purchase
We have booked via Amex Travel and had the full amount charged, but with the £200 credit appearing on our Amex statement shortly thereafter. So we only had to pay the balance remaining from the amount less £200.
