My recent hire car suffered some damage. I paid with my Plat card so believe that will cover the excess costs. Do I pay the car company myself for the excess and then claim through AMEX or do they deal with it?
My recent hire car suffered some damage. I paid with my Plat card so believe that will cover the excess costs. Do I pay the car company myself for the excess and then claim through AMEX or do they deal with it?
The hire company will usually require you to pay them the cost (which needs to be charged to Amex card) and you then need to make the insurance claim to be indemnified.
