If anyone known the platinum offer £100 off when spend £300 on Amex travel online can be accumulating or must be in a single transaction. Looked into the T&Cs can’t see neither of them being requested. Got 2 hotel bookings on different places that might be able to make use of it, provided the hotels charged it before the stay.
TIAEh? The cashback only triggers if you pay Amex Travel. Any booking where the hotel does a pre-arrival charge won’t count.

Oh really, i thought the prepaid hotel via amex travel can trigger the offer.
How long is this offer taking to trigger? Just made the transaction, it’s showing Amex Travel on the pending transactions page, it only saves me money if the offer triggers.
Does this offer work with cumulative spend or do I have to spend £300 in one go?

About 4 weeks for me.
Was this offer in the standard Amex Offers section (in the app or on the website) where you have to save it to your card. I can’t remember how I accessed it but think i probably saved it to the card. I booked a hotel on my platinum card a couple of weeks ago (for >£400) and got the £100 credit but had to cancel and they took £100 back (not unreasonably) but it seems to have disappeared now from the offers available. Does anyone know if it has expired? thanks
Got the email the day after I made the hotel booking. This was a Marriott where I only have gold status, rate was flexible and included breakfast. Had to move up two room levels to hit the £300 target. Saved me about £50 I think.
Quick question about this offer – would prepaid FHR or a Hotel Collection booking be eligible for this offer? T&C’s state the URL should be travel.ame…, however, the particular hotel I am looking at only shows up with the FHR benefit of searching via different FHR dedicated URL on the Amex website. On the usual travel search engine the Sofitel I am looking at shoes up without any benefits. TIA.
It’s cumulative.
I made 2 separate bookings last week – upon the second one (which took me over £300 spend), I received a trigger email to say I’ve redeemed the £100 cashback offer.
The charges fell off pending but have now ‘cleared’ and should hopefully see the £100 cashback in next few days.

8 days for me. Three transactions so cumulative and no email received.
