I really appreciated the free lounge reservations introduced for Platinum card holders in the second half of this year. It was especially good for family travel, where I’m less inclined to walk all the way to the lounge with the expectation they might be too busy and turn us away.
Disappointed there was no announcement on this benefit renewing with the revamped benefits and changes in dining credit. Wondering if anyone else feels the same? Or if anyone form the HfP team has any idea if they might still renew it?
Same feelings here. Very useful for the four of us (cardholder plus supplementary and two children)
Agreed. This is a very useful benefit and would likely sway people into keeping the platinum card. An acceptable substitution for the Harvey Nichols credit if enough visits were given.
I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this but while they didn’t appear to be part of the initial announcement for this offer the two Glasgow lounges later appeared on the list of bookable lounges.
An extension of a number of free pre bookings into 2025 would be good news for anyone travelling from Glasgow as the supposedly better (I’ve never tried it myself) of the two lounges, the Lomond Lounge, allows pre bookings with priority pass but not walk ins.
