Platinum dining credit

Hi – if we buy only drinks at a nominated restaurant will we qualify for the dining credit? Would logically be at the bar not a table but still paying the same company on platinum card.

It will depend how the restaurant is set up. If they run it through a separate merchant code then no.

Any experience of how long the dining credit takes to appear in ‘offers’ for a new card? I’ve had mine for a week now – the international dining credit appeared on Saturday, but still waiting on the local one (and Harvey Nic’s).

The local one has never appeared in my offers , however has always credited when I’ve spent in participating restaurants

My local dining credit has just appeared – about 11 days after receiving the card.

Anyone experiencing delays in receiving the credit? been over a month now and still waiting for the dining credit abroad for Japan.

I my dining abroad credit in Aug. but it has reappeared as “to be used by 31-12-24” on my card!

I suggest you raise a complaint via the chat. I did after 2 weeks (used it in NZ) and sorted within 24 hours.
