Considering the price of the full price bottles, his seemed like a decent deal in the sale for an easy use of the credit

£50 gift cards now out of stock again. I ordered one and then received a message to say order cannot be fulfilled.

I’ll try again in due course.

Thank you for that. While my wife is ostensibly a natural for Harvey Nichols, she really doesn’t like the place and finds the credit more of a burden than a benefit, but this fits the bill perfectly.

I bought something for £50 online on 31st Dec and was credited on 1st Jan. Does this mean the credit falls into the previous account (Jul-Dec 2023) or this years?

When you click the transaction what’s the date of the transaction (in the app that’s the date it shows up as in the main timeline) and the date processed (further detail when you click the transactions)?

My gut feeling is 31st was a Sunday and you were too late and it’s fallen into this years Jan-June

Just nipped in with my wife to spend my £50 on whatever came to hand and ended up £1,300 lighter after a trip to the women’s sale rails. Be warned ….

Probably worth ordering a £50 bottle of wine for home delivery in future…

How long are people finding it takes for the £50 to be credited by Amex? Spent more than £50 on 2nd Jan, but no £50 credit yet.

Bought 5x of the above-mentioned panettone (different expiry dates, but all within next two months) on Friday. Each one of them delivered in separate large box on Saturday. Still no sign of credit though.

I never chase unless 90 days are up and they usually show up before that. What’s the point of wasting time on the phone/chat?

Bought in store on 13th and credited on 20th.

For those who plan to redeem multiple gift cards, give the staff a headsup before spending. They looked at us suspiciously when we handed over 4×50 cards at the time of billing and took time to verify each one.

I had to return a shirt for a refund. Does the amex credit “reset” in this case?

It should do, but if it doesn’t call Amex.
