    Hello.
As I understand the benefit resets again on the 1st of Jan.
I last used it in September. Do I need to wait 6 months from September or can I use it anytime after the 1st of Jan?
    TIA

    I’m ordering mine in 3 hours 🙂

It resets on Jan 1 and July 1.

I’m struggling to find anything this time. Found a good looking 50 quid rum, but they don’t deliver.

Same here. I’m looking to bank this and the dining credit then cancel the card. Can’t really find much that appeals to me or is within my price range. I may just pop into the store and grab a gift card.

If it helps the Christy hand towels are pretty much in line with other websites in terms of pricing.

Jo Malone candles pricing are also in line (£56) and I find quite good to keep a spare one at home for emergency gifts. (I’m personally horrified at the prospect of essentially burning cash, but my friend seems like them)

Where do you live – our order came by DPD.

I always use mine in the restaurant. The set menu is great value. In my experience the shop is overpriced.

Some of the lower value bottles are not eligible for delivery. I did find a Calvados that was 50 quid including delivery so I’ll go for that. It’s only slightly over what I normally pay for Calvados, so a win.

I’d been holding out for some more of the lovely cocktail coupes I bought a couple of months back, but they don’t stock them anymore.

The NEOM candles are very nice gifts too, and bigger than the Jo Malone ones. Similar pricing. Very handy as you say for the unexpected gift…

I used mine in the food section a few days before Christmas – I wound up buying what is probably tut but HN branded so they looked nice as gifts for people who (i hope) would be impressed by such things.

I find the food selection generally underwhelming though and when you are spending “normal person money” the acne ridden teen at the till didn’t even try to hide his disdain!

Only tip I have to offer though – there is a lift to the top floor by the entrance on Sloan Street – realistically it saves you a minute or two, but it seems like an age going up on the escalators!

There is some hilarious garbage in the sale isn’t there!

“Sarah Jessica Parker”, Kylie Minogue, and Rammstein branded booze.

It will only sell £250 (or more) gift cards online – can you get a £50 one in-store?

    Thanks.

Noticed there’s a few quid of TCB on offer for HN.

There’s also a referral scheme with a 15% offer but the minimum spend is…not suitable for Northern Lidl shopper types like us.

We bought a nice vermouth and a Welsh gin which was reduced- the total was £63 and both delivered but we do live in London if that makes any difference.

Does the credit apply @ Madhus Brasserie?

Other tips: If you register your plat card in BA estore for in store offers, previously I got points for shopping online. So you can get TCB and avios on top. Also sign up for their rewards too! Usually I get a 2 use of the double point vouchers (I think for Beauty) per year (good for my twice a year spend at HN) and I think a discount code for my birthday. Not a lot but adds up over time to a quid off to offset when my basket is more than £50. I also find sometimes they send me 10% off if I “abandon” my basket.

    @Polly
, thanks. Do you think NEOM is considered posher than Jo M? To @notrob’s point I mainly gift it to people who are impressed by Jo M gifts. Feels like Jo M is a better known brand.

I would say Jo Loves is probably posher as it is the brand started by Jo Malone after she sold the eponymous company to Estée Lauder!

Their search function could be better, I couldn’t find one at first. They do sell £50 gift cards online – https://www.harveynichols.com/harvey-nichols/gift-card-l50-645059-na-130249/

Edited to add: oops I see what you mean – “unavailable for delivery or collect in store”. Or is that because I am not in the UK at the moment? Either way, I bought a £50 one online as recently as 23 December (when I was in the UK) and it was delivered on Christmas Eve, which impressed me. Maybe keep an eye on the link and see if it availability comes back (if you can’t indeed buy one)?

I made a purchase online at HN on 28 December. It is still showing as pending. Will I get the credit for 2023? or how will I know if they credit for 2024?

The final cleared transaction date (which with HN I’ve never known to be different to the online purchase date) will determine whether the 2023 or 2024 credit applies.

Did you get your Amex Credit Statement for buying the gift card? I read they should be excluded. I’ve done this instore and was credited, I wasn’t sure if it would work online as well.

Our first half was: Byredo Summer Rain candle. Fabulous.
Second half: Kiehl’s shampoo + LeLabo shower gel.

I spent on the 17th of December and it took my credit 1 week to apply on the 24th.

So would I be right in saying that I was just in the 2023 bucket, so that I can now do it once more until the 1st of July beginning.. well, as of yesterday?
