I’m flying from Edinburgh in a couple of weeks in a group of 6 (inc. 2 teenagers) on a Friday evening. We’d probably want to eat at the airport anyway. Since me and my husband can each get 1 x guest into the lounge for free, we’re contemplating paying for the extra two people.
I assume that’s possible. If so, does anyone know the cost for additional guests? Is it the same as the walk-up rate, or is there a preferential rate available? Does it make a difference if I use the Platinum card directly, or the Priority Pass card now that this is an option?
I’ve only ever used the lounge in the morning where it’s been incredibly quiet. I’m not sure how it’s likely to be on a Friday evening, or what the food offering is like – any ideas?
I had something similar back in September at EDI Plaza Premium, I used me + guest on plat and asked if ok to use Priority Pass for the third person, the desk were happy to accommodate this.
Worst case will be the additional guest fee, this is £24pp whether on Priority Pass or the Plat card.
