Hi folks,
Stayed at JW Marriott Nashville 4-8 Feb. I saw the stay in progress on Bonvoy site at the time so it’s clearly linked. 9 days on, no points. How long do they normally take?
Phil
That sounds like they have decided to withdraw it from your account due to it being an ineligible stay. Was there anything unusual about the rate you booked and how it was booked? Many corporate rates and all hotel aggregator site rates are not Bonvoy-eligible.
If it’s a mistake on their part, you have to wait a minimum period (I think it’s 10 full working days) before the Marriott website will let you submit a missing stay claim.
You will need folio to claim. If you haven’t received it, you can request it straight away after the stay. Otherwise you might have to wait a few extra days to receive it.

It was a corporate booking. Company booked out most of the hotel for an event. Does that make it ineligible?
Did the company pay for all the rooms centrally? If so, it’s likely not eligible for points. It’s also possible that it was booked for them on an event rate which is deeply discounted and not eligible.
If you paid for it yourself and have the folio you could try submitting a missing stay claim. That way they’ll come back to you to say if it was eligible or not.

They did. Sounds like it wasn’t eligible 🙁 That’s for confirming
