Premier account sort code not recognised by utility companies

Hi,
This is not rewards related but wanted to check if anyone got problems setting up direct debit with the new bank account? Thames water says my sort code is invalid. Most other companies seem to accept it. Anyone faced such issues?

If it’s a new Sorting code, Thames Water are probably just using an old look-up list.

It does happen from time to time, Shell Broadband refused to accept the sorting code for staff banking (different bank) that I’ve held for 30 years.
