Has anyone received this message before? I have tried the telephone number but it is engaged. Thank you.

No, but the IT is all over the place. Has the payment gone through on your card?

Give them a call, they are very helpful. I’d suggest early morning as it took me 20 mins to get a reply yesterday early afternoon. They’d moved my flight forward 8 hours but left the car hire to be collected at the old time but changed it very quickly and emailed me a new confirmation immediately.

Thank you for the reply NL. The payment is showing on my card – I have been trying to get through since 8.30am but engaged every time so far.

Oh dear – maybe afternoon is actually better then.

Have you checked your booking to see if it’s actually all in order? The message might just have been a BA IT wobble!

I just looked it up on who called me and it says

Has the payment been reflected in the booking?

I.e. is it showing as zero balance due?

I called the 0344 number – I think even though I selected option 1, it wasn’t clear that I was calling BA holidays until they answered!

Would the 0208 number be the one they give you to call if you need them while you’re actually on the holiday?

No – it still shows as me owing the money

Many thanks AJA – I reached out on to BA Twitter and this is the very number that they gave me! I shall try it later.

This points lark is a funny old game. I got through to BA immediately on 0344 493 0787 option 1 and within 3 minutes they apologised and all is well.
