I have been trying to book flights (DPS to YIA return) on the Garuda website. I enter the flight details and then click on the Select flights tab. I always get 404 page not available message.

    Any sUggestions?

Lion air is an laternative, but they seen to have a poorer saftey record. Should I be concerned booking Lion Air?

Try incognito mode on Chrome browser.
Usually works for me when airline sites start getting funny.

I always use Air Asia or Bangkok airways, for internal flights in Asia. They’ve had a few incidents, but I’ve had no issues. I’ve never used Lion Air. My last flight was SIN-DPS With Air Asia.

I’ve been looking at flights like that: Yogyakarta or Surabaya to Bali.
Air Asia don’t fly those routes.
YIA > DPS is mainly Lion Air with Garuda on some (but not all) days of the week.
Batik and Lion Air on the SUB > DPS route.

I used to use Expedia for some flights in Asia as the local websites can be troublesome and to be honest it can be easier dealing with Expedia than the airline direct at times in that part of the world ! Traveloka is the local OTA and very reputable as well
