I’m really confused. I am flying on a QF flight operated by Emirates do i get BA tier b points?
I read a post from Rob back In February that its changing and one in July that it has changed and you won’t get the tier points. Then also in July someone posted a letter from BA’s Wendy Peacock advising that that person would.
Fast forward to today. The website in my view says no I won’t. I phoned the Gold helpline and they spent a considerable amount of time checking saying yes as long as Qantas agrees. Which is odd. My booking was back in March which may have something to do with it.
My problem is that if I use my BA frequent flyer account and when I return it is not credited would I be able to retroactively change it to my Qantas account?
BA website says
Executive Club Members can collect Avios on:
Flights marketed and operated by Qantas or Qantas Airlines affiliates under the QF designated code.
Flights marketed by Qantas but operated by Jetstar booked as oneworld fare in L class only.
Flights marketed by Qantas or Qantas Airlines affiliates and operated by Qantas, a Qantas affiliate, British Airways, or another oneworld carrier.
Don’t expect anything else to work, and retroactive changes are not normally possible.
