Looking to book a redemption to the Maldives on QR but booking via BA. Online I am getting a price of c317,000 avios and c£1,300 in taxes/fees. For some reason I can’t complete online. The site takes me all the way to the payment page and then fails.
Problem is when I called the BA Exec Club last night they are telling me that the web is an error and the correct fare is c280,000 avios and c£2,400 of taxes/fees.
The original price is still available online and I have screen shots etc. does anybody have an experience of this? Can I get BA to honour their website?
That’s a hell of a lot of Avios – or is it multiple people?

Yes, check the QR site – looks like they want 130k Avios plus around £650 per person for Feb 2024 for Lon-MLE
