Just landed in Phuket on a BA Holiday, flew on QR metal but all BA flight numbers (and printed as such below QR number on boarding pass).
Avios and Tier Points impressively posted before I even arrived at the hotel. However, I have only received the 4066 avios for the LHR-DOH segment, ie the bonus 50% for being BAEC silver is missing. Similar situation for the DOH-HKT segment. MMB clearly shows total avios for the trip of ~26k which would correspond to the 50% bonus being applied.
Flights only showing with QR number on the Recent Transactions page. Will this rectify itself, or do I need to chase BA? Furthermore, this trip should qualify for the BAH Double Tier Point offer, but am worried this may also be affected now.
Any previous experiences of similar? Thanks
I had a similar issue on AA where they didn’t post. I had to chase them. It took weeks, but got those in the end. The bonus TPs are reported to be posting in within a week of your arrival back in the UK.
Thanks AJ. Was yours a BA holiday Double Tier Point trip? In which case, did the bonus TPs credit without chasing?
Had to go back 13 pages to find this thread which had a similar question to mine.
SJ, what did you do in the end? I booked flights on BA.com for CMB-DOH-LGW where the first sector was with QR but with a BA flight number (2nd leg was BA2032) and I’ve ended up with reduced avios and no qualifying flight credited for my attempt at regaining silver. Did you find that it sorted itself? (I doubt it). Did chasing up the missing tier points get the flights credited as qualifying?
BA holidays with BA actual flights took 3 months to filter through in totality – in early August we went to Malta 5 nights business flights on a BA holiday – the ADDITIONAL Tier points arrived this week! Hope that helps – Tweeting and emailing BA did nothing to all the suggested email addresses not widely known ! We just waited and they did arrive eventually
Well, no, we had a BA hol to Malta and the double tier points came through in 2 months. So I know all about that issue. Appreciate your interest though.

Hey weeble.
It all sorted itself out within a week of returning. Double tier points posted promptly too. Will be making use of the First Wing on an economy booking tomorrow as a newly minted Gold.
