need to get from the gulf to South Africa. Am seeing different award availability on QR’s site versus BA’s. What’s more, QR seems more expensive.

Normal award availability should be the same, but sometimes isn’t.
Qatar also offer “double awards”, which cost double, and can’t be booked on BAs website.
Thanks – I wonder if it’s the double awards that I’m seeing then as QR want 100k one way, plus £160 in cash (think it was designated with a little “Q2” flag in the corner).
Still makes for an OK proposition as the cheapest I can see for cash (Rwandair aside) is £1400 via IST…

Yes, a Q2 flag indicates a double Avios price.
