Little question if anyone can help.
Gained silver again last year. Due to good timing expiry date not till 30th April 2024.
My year end date is 8th March.
If I earn another year in next couple of months, whilst need 450 tier points, will 12 months still be added taking expiry date to 30th April 2025?
Thanks for any help. Paul.
No. They will simply be added to your lifetime balance to achieve gold for life.
Even though this is a fresh year to the one I earnt Silver in?
If your expiry date is 30 April 2024, that suggests you have earned the required TP/flights since 8 March this year, so any TP you earn between now and 8 March 2023 will go towards gold and/or your lifetime TP. You earned the points early in your year, so you have a long period of silver. In order to extend silver to 30 April 2025, you will need to earn the standard 600 TP and 4 flights between 9 March 2023 and 8 March 2024.
Uhhhh just checked my BA app and I was awarded 240 TP last week for the flights from last Dec (that I finally got after 5 months of complaints late last April). So they’ve duplicated the award.
So now I just need 4 flights and 210 TP to requalify at the reduced level by Dec 31.
