    Hi all

Family of four are going to Thailand in April and I would love to visit koh sok for a night or two.. Elephant hills is fully booked, so wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where to stay.

    Initial plan is the following
    2 nights bkk
5 nights Koh Phangan (panivam resort)
    2 nights Koh Sok
5 nights Krabi or Khoa Lak
Return back from bkk to London

We are a family of 4 heading there in October. Splitting 10 nights in Phuket and Khao Lak then finishing in BKK.

We are heading to the Sarojin in Khao Lak, but was tempted by the Avani, which was half the price, but looked a little less traditional Thai to us.

Also interested if anyone has any restaurant / excursion tips around Phuket and Khoa Lak…

We (family of four) stayed at Elephant Hills last August and bookended it 3 nights at Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa beforehand and the Hyatt Regency Phuket for 3 nights after it. Can’t recommend both hotels highly enough, they were excellent for us (kids were 10 & 12 at the time) and the perfect “luxury” stay after time in the jungle.

The Le Méridien is not really near that much, but that was kind of the point. You can walk up the beach to a few restaurants / beach bars but we mainly stayed in the resort as it’s so good. The swimming pools are amazing and we had direct access to it from the room balcony which was very popular. Rooms, restaurants, bars and activities were all very good. A beer at the beach bar watching the sun set over the Andaman Sea whilst the kids ran about was lifelong memories.
