I’ve got Marriot and IHG points. Looking to book at stay near Disney, Orlando and wondered what the best hotels people would recommend?
I think i have narrowed it down to the Sheraton Walt Disney World Dolphin, Marriott Orlando World Center and JW Marriott Grand Lakes. Any advice or feedback please?
If you’re traveling with kids I’d go for something with suites and a kitchenette to keep costs down, unless money is no object!

If you’re planning a WDW parks heavy trip it’s worth noting that the Dolphin would give you the option to walk (or get the boat) to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
We had a couple of nights at the Hilton Disney Springs, rather old but near enough the walk to the MK, small pool but perfectly acceptable for our needs. Big rooms , great staff and from what I remember a less expensive points cost that others with the chain.
Dolphin comes with some park perks (can’t remember exactly what they are), which would be worth considering what value you attribute to them.
Wondering what you went for @Jonathans
For 7 nights for Bonvoy in August 2025 I’ve been comparing flex cash rates with points bookings for cheapest available room (usually standard 2 x double)
The Dolphin and Swan do indeed come with early park entry etc but the comparative value cf other Bonvoy properties is far worse eg same points value gets you in to a JWMarriott with cash rates almost double.

0.66p/pointWe’ve stayed at Orange Lake resorts a couple of times over the years – super facilities, great location and very well- priced. The villas are the way to go though, rather than the apartments.
