Bonvoy redemption includes breakfast?

Hi all

Sorry if I’m being a bit silly but I can’t see anywhere (I booked a while ago so can’t recall the booking process) if redemption rates include breakfast or are room only?

I assume the latter as breakfast isn’t mentioned but thought I’d check.

The simple answer is that unless the rate says ‘breakfast included’ or ‘with breakfast’ in the room category then you won’t have it included, unless you are eligible for it due to status (Platinum and above).

If the hotel offers cash base rates that appear to have breakfast included by default, then there’s a chance it may be extended to redemptions. But that’s not the general rule of thumb, in my experience.

99% of the time without unless it’s an all inclusive ofcourse.

The fact all cash rates are including breakfast doesn’t mean it’s included either. The redemption would have to say inc breakfast when booking.

The Ritz Carlton Bustan Palace Oman is an example all cash rates have breakfast but it’s excluded for redemptions.
