Redemption cancellations

If I cancel a redemption is the cancellation still only £1 irrespective of what avios / cash element I used..
Or has BA IT caught up

It is most likely £1 (for a return) assuming it is a European flight. But the type of booking can mess it up. However, if you log into your booking and select cancel then it will show you how much it will cost to cancel before you click accept.

I can confirm you get it all back minus £1.

I did fancy Barcelona but hotel prices are so bonkers I fell out with it and decided to go to Doha for some winter sun instead, where I can get 5* HB for the price of room only in Barcelona.
