Redemptions on Hawaiian Airlines

Planning a trip to Hawaii next Aug. I want use my truck load of virgin points.
I’m looking on expert flyer for award space for partner airlines and it’s very lean! Anyone know when HA release award seats for virgin? And any other advice appreciated.

Your best bet for HA is to call Flying Club. HA and VS don’t codeshare, so get your full HA itinerary ready, and give them the flight numbers, dates and fare codes, and Flying Club will usually try to work out if that’s possible, then put a request in to HA for you. You’ll often be told to call back, with a reference number, to see whether the seats have been released to VS from HA itinerary. If they have, then VS will take your payment then (points plus TFS as cash).
