Redeposited Companion Voucher not available to use

I booked flights on ba.com last night using a companion voucher. The credit card processing seems to have timed out and the booking didn’t go through on BA, even though it was shown on my Amex.

I can see on my recent transactions that the companion voucher has been redeposited but it is not available for me to book with and does not appear in the ‘my vouchers’ page. Anyone know how long it takes before available, obviously worried that the avoids seats will no longer be available if it takes too long!

Thought I would post an update. Called BA, apparently they are have (another) massive IT issue and everything is taking a lot longer than normal. It will take up to 72 hours for the voucher to reappear, but the nice gent on the phone is holding our avoid seats for us until then. downside is that will have to sit on hold for another hour to call and pay once the voucher is available.
