Reduced 40 Tier Points to Istanbul

Only received 40 Tier Points for Business flight to IST. Original booking said 80. Looks like BA have recently reduced to 40. Will BA honour original booking of 80 TP ??

There have been previous changes to TP for routes where the higher rates have been honoured for people who’d booked before the change. Sharma El Sheikh originally gave 140TP when it launched, before changing to 80TP, for eg.

Worth contacting BA and asking, making clear it was 80TP when you booked.

BA have already recognised the error. Give them a little time to sort it out.

BAEC phone agents won’t be able to do anything at the moment anyway.
