Refer partner for BA Amex PP via BA Exec Club

I currently have a BA AMEX PP card in my name with i about 6 months in and has already triggered the CC voucher.

Can I refer my partner who lives in same house as me for BA Amex PP via BA Exec club to get the 60k points bonus and the 9k referal fee?

I plan to eventually downgrade my BA Amex PP to the free version before its up again for renewal. If I close no they no longer to the pro-rata refunding of the annual fees right?

@rjenkins00 – you can refer your partner, but if there is one of the super promotions (like the 60k you refer to) that can only be applied for directly via the specific channel required to get that higher SUB – no referral. You can still get a pro-rata refund but it is expected that this concession will cease to apply at some point in the autumn. Amex has said it will give some notice but they aren’t required to do this and that also probably won’t be directly to cardholders as the no pro-rata refund clause is already in the terms and conditions so can be imposed at whim.
