I’ve recently made my first reward booking, business return to Cape Town next March. I got almost exactly what I wanted, and used an upgrade voucher to save 85k Avios. I have two small problems:
Outbound is on a Sunday evening, I would prefer the Friday or Saturday, to extend the trip a bit.
Inbound is on a Saturday, which is perfect, but it’s returning to LGW, so it won’t be Club Suite.
What chance is there that at some point new seats will be released so I could change one or both of my flights?
If it doesn’t happen I don’t mind too much, they are still good flights. I also have a seatspy alert setup.
releasign more reward seats willdepend on how cash sales are going -more cash sales and it’s less likely more reards will be issued.
All you can do is keep an eye on things.
