Remove 1 person from 4 person booking with 2 companion vouchers ?

I have a booking for 4 using 2 new style companion vouchers , 250k avios total and the old fees of £700 ish each.

Has anyone cancelled one person and managed to get 1 companion voucher back and 1 lot of taxes -£35 (as avios would be 2ppl full avios + 1 free with 1 voucher?) , or would i have to cancel 2 ppl and try and rebook 1 person separate if the seats were re issued to exec club

Someone else asked the other day on once of the facebook groups but noone answered , just before i ring BA and sak the question

I think this should be fine BUT you won’t get any Avios back, because the 3rd person will now be chargd at full price. A voucher comes back.
