Dear all,
I’m new to HfP and the whole loyalty scheme game. Reading a lot lately on transferring from BAEC to other OW airlines, may I get some advice please? I’m a fairly active flyer on economy (as work book the cheapest flights for me) but not PE/ Business.
Aim
1. Primary aim is tier: To get to minimum of OW Ruby (BA Bronze) and even better, Sapphire status (BA Silver).
2. I don’t care too much about the ‘loyalty points’ (e.g. Avios) if it’s not about tier,
Here is my flight plan for this year:
1. Well aware that some would not count as they’re not OW, but decided to keep them here in case some are listed as partner airlines;
2. Some of the flights I don’t actually know the fare class (they’re all economy low), due to them being booked by work, so I just assumed it’s the lowest fare class;

From Travel Dealz calculator (seems like it’s made in 2021… not sure if updated), I’m qualified for OW Ruby with MH Enrich:
– Malaysia Airlines Enrich: Silver (133% = 40 of 30 miles)
– Royal Jordanian Royal Club: Silver JAY (73% = 10,954 of 15,000 miles)
– Royal Jordanian Royal Club: Silver JAY (71% = 10 of 14 segments)
For OW Sapphire qualification, here is the progress
– Malaysia Airlines Enrich: Gold (67% = 40 of 60 miles)
– Royal Air Maroc Safar Flyer: Gold (33% = 10 of 30 segments)
– Royal Jordanian Royal Club: Gold SPARROW (33% = 10 of 30 segments)
TL;DR: Questions/ Advice please on:
1. What’s the best way to advance my tier to OW Ruby/ Sapphire based on the above flying pattern
2. Does CX (Class Q/S) count as RJ Royal Club as ‘flight segments’?
Thanks so much!
Hi, Enrich member here. Refer to this table https://www.malaysiaairlines.com/content/dam/mas/enrich/table/New_Tier_ElitePoints_Earning_Table.pdf for tier points calculation. PE does not get you more tier points (or known as elite miles) in my memory. So it is basically just based on distance flown. The good thing i saw that you are flying on QR to asia via Doha is you get more elite miles from breaking the flights up because, the maximum elite mile you can get is 8miles for economy and caps at 8000miles and beyond.
