Retreat Suites now £300 each?

I was just looking at the retreat suites for my upcoming LHR>MIA flight and they are £300pp. Has this gone up recently?
As a Virgin Red member, do you reckon there is any chance at all of getting a free upgrade to those seats. Is it even worth asking?

It was £300 when I went to NYC in September – before Virgin changed my aircraft!

Just checked, our London – Tampa flight on 26th Dec the retreat suite is £300 each.

If you book the flight with points and pay the retreat suite seat fees.. are these refunded if you move / cancel the flights.
