Reward flight by partner airlines flying with 4

We’re looking at flights to japan in 2025, direct with BA its possible although expensive in both taxes and avios for 4 people in business. I’ve looked into via Helsinki with Finn air as its cheaper taxes and points but only 2 seats in business released. Same via Doha with Qatar, not cheap but better airline experience. When does extra reward flight availability get released via partner airlines or do i have to bite the bullet and just go BA direct.

Are you using 241 vouchers? This will halve the required Avios for BA flights to TYO. BA also guarantees the release of four business seats at T-355, which further sweetens the deal and makes them more attractive in this case.
