As part of all the changes VA has announced today, it seems like they have also increased the voucher threshold to £20k for the Reward+ card.

These terms apply to new Reward+ cardholders from the 30th September 2024 and existing Reward Cardholders from the 30th October 2024.
Earning Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card Points
1. We’ll give you 18,000 bonus Virgin Points if you make a purchase using your Reward+ Credit Card in the first 90 days. There’s no minimum spend.
2. You’ll earn 1.5 Virgin Points for every £1 you spend on card purchases. You won’t earn Virgin Points on cash advances, balance transfers, money transfers, interest or fees.
3. You’ll earn 3 Virgin Points for every £1 you spend directly with Virgin Atlantic or Virgin Holidays excluding purchases of Virgin Points.
4. There’s a cap on the Virgin Points you can earn each month based on your credit limit. So if your credit limit is £5,000, you’ll earn points on the first £5,000 of card purchases in a month. If you spend more than that, you won’t earn points on that bit. We’ll reset the counter every month on the date of your credit card statement. The cap doesn’t apply to bonus points.
5. To benefit from the points earned on the Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card you need to be a member of the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. You will also need to link your membership number to your credit card. You can join Virgin Atlantic Flying Club here. We’ll add your points to your Flying Club account every month within 5 days of your credit card statement date. You’ll get any bonus points in the month after you’ve earned them.
Earning Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card Flying Club Tier Rewards
1. If you spend £10,000 or more on card purchases over 12 months, you’ll earn a Flying Club reward voucherreward. You can only earn one voucher reward every 12 months. The 12 months resets on each anniversary of the date your Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Credit Card account was opened.
2. The value of reward you earn depends on your Flying Club tier status when you redeem the voucher.
· If you are a Red tier member, your voucher can redeemed for an upgrade or companion seat up to the value of 75,000 Virgin Points.
· If you are a Silver or Gold tier member, your voucher can redeemed for an upgrade or companion seat up to the value of 150,000 Virgin Points

If you are a Red tier member, your voucher can redeemed for an upgrade or companion seat up to the value of 75,000 Virgin Points.One of them is a pretty bad typo! Point 2 indicates these are the updated terms…
Point 1 clearly talks about the free card.
Is the feeling therefore that this is a typo rather than a genuine enhancement?

It looks like whichever intern was working on the website copied the first part from free cards and forgot to change it.
My card anniversary is October but I haven’t been charged the fee yet, I’m sure it was taken in mid September last year!

There’s no “definitely” either way yet. The Virgin Money site still says £20k for the + card. Whatever the outcome, it’s a pretty shocking typo as the emails and different parts of VM/VS websites still say different things hours later.
Website T&C’s are now corrected to say £10K
My card anniversary is October but I haven’t been charged the fee yet, I’m sure it was taken in mid September last year!
My wife has a complaint currently under investigation – Virgin took the second annual fee after 11 months of membership and have said she didn’t qualify for the voucher as the spend target wasn’t reached in time. Her “renewal” date has been quoted as the 3rd Sept ’24 despite not being approved for the card until the 29th Sept ’23. She hadn’t even applied for it on the 3rd Sept ’23!

I had the same and made a formal complaint, they agreed with me issued the voucher and made a partial refund of the annual fee. Persist.
