I’ve just booked a reward stay at the Ritz Carlton in Doha in a standard room, and applied for a suite night award. Upon a little more investigation, I realised that I wouldn’t have access to the Club Lounge (Titanium member but I believe this isn’t recognised at Ritz Carltons?). I have the option to add some cash to my redemption stay in order to book a club room, but am I still able to use my suite night awards for the upgrade and retain access to the club lounge, noting the two suites on the upgrade list do not have access to the lounge?
Hopefully someone else has been in a similar position and can answer the above – I contacted the hotel but they weren’t able to give me a straight answer.

Ritz Carlton used to have a separate scheme so isn’t fully integrated (yet? using a SNA is a new development!) – therefore you won;t get much thanks to status. No lounge, breakfast etc.
If you pay a supplement for Club access though, I believe you will get it independent of what happens to your SNA. It’s a less common occurrence and I could not confirm in writing though. However, if there is any issue, a quiet and polite word with someone senior at check out will easily sort it out. I wouldn’t worry about it
