Hi
I wasn’t sure where best to post this as not LHR forum but thought some BA frequent flyers might be able to help. We are retuning into LHR just as England are hopefully due to play in the World Cup we wont have time to get home to watch it.
Is there anywhere in LHR T3 Arrivals that will have it on. We have priority pass if that helps If not can anyone recommend anywhere near LHR we will be heading another up the M40
Many thanks
RobYou could watch it on your phone/tablet sitting on one of the seats in arrivals/departures.

Whilst wearing headphones.
Personally I feel airport lounges are no place to be showing live sport. It’ll just lead to people (men) feeling they have a licence to be loud and share their punditry at a volume where we all can benefit from it.
God, is that rubbish still dragging on. It won’t be over by Christmas at this rate!

Set to record at home and maintain radio silence then watch in the comfort of own room
I have a similar question for tonight – I’ll have a long wait in T5 for my regional connection and really must find out what happened after last night’s cliffhanger ending to Eastenders. Can anyone advise where I’d be able to watch the next riveting installment?
The Fuller Pub, London’s Pride, at T2, is probably your best bet. It is close, and is showing the rugby
Thank you everyone for your opinions and helpful advice they are all appreciated

Just seen this is airside don’t think I’ll be able to get there from t3.

Apologies! I just noticed that it is airside. There is a sister pub landside in T2, the Queen’s Arms, but it does not mention the rugby on their website, and I cannot see any TVs in the pics on their website. The same with the landside pub in T3, the Oceanic/Market Gardener. I hate to say it, but you might have to just on the bus for a few minutes and go to one of the bars on Bath Road. Most of them will be showing it, eg the Sports Bar in the Holiday Inn and the Sheraton
Bring back the olds days of just avoiding the results only to find the match has been cancelled and replaced by skating highlights.
Though it only happned to the likely lads.

In this day and age of push notifications, email subject lines and social media, avoiding any news is more and more difficult!

No problem, we will actually be driving and will be parked on the Short Stay car park. Do you know if any of the local beers will have easy parking. If not we might just get on the road and find somewhere at the bottom on the m40

Or maybe the Hilton at T3, save taking the bus.

Oh – didn’t realise you had a car. Which short stay car park are you in? You are on the north side of LHR, why not going with one of the two sports bars I suggested on Bath Road? One in the Sheraton Skyline or the one in the Holiday Inn / Staybridge suites? Both have loads of parking?
