Hi folks
Am I doing something wrong here? I have 2 USA flights, WT+, paid in cash. SeatSpy show 6 Avios availability on both flights. BA [when I finally got through via Twitter as the Sales line is “closed for a few weeks”, they simply say that there is no seat upgrade on either flight. Am I getting this wrong? Confused.
Are there CW seats available if you use the Avios search function on BA website/App?
How did you buy the WTP tickets? Travel agent, BA Holidays or BA direct?
Tickets direct from BA.com. I’ll try searching on BA but SeatSpy has been reliable in the past. Thanks
Could it be seatspy is picking up seats for a different flight to same destination on same day?
Thanks guys. So I thought I’d ring. Bizarre, got through in 7 minutes using Option 1 ‘Change your flight’. Great service, looked at flights, confirmed that there were Avios seats available, did the deal and I paid the extra taxes. All done! The chap on BA Twitter was just plain wrong. Anyway, all good. The BA ‘phone service is really random…….
