    Evening all..confused by tier points and soft landings. By accident not design, I’m 55 points away from Bronze. Tier point year ends in Nov 22 and I’m looking to book something for June and mulling the double tier points offer vs flights only. If I hit silver before Nov, does that mean I’m bronze next year and then back to blue the year after? And similarly if I hit bronze, does that mean it’ll only be until Nov and then back to Blue after that..?
    Thanks!

    Never mind the below as it has nothing to do with your question about soft landing 🙂

    I am sure someone will be able to answer more accurately as i have a similar issue.

    I am bronze now but runs out 7th July, i then have a points run 3 days later that will get me to Silver, and by research a few months back i expect that to be silver for the year and then the following year before back to blue (or whatever i get during this time).

    I cannot recall all the rules but this is what i believe will happen and purposely waited for my membership to renew before i travelled for the silver points run.

    Hope this makes some sense

    @duggie1982 TP earning ends of the 8th of the month not the 7th

    @keely

    Assuming you achieve Silver by 8th November 2022 you will be silver until 31st December 2023.

    If you don’t earn enough TPs for it between 9th Nov 22 and 8th Nov 23 then for 2024 you will drop to Bronze

    @ChrisC thanks – that’s very interesting …definitely worth chasing it now then while the targets are lower.
