Apologise to bring this up if been covered elsewhere in the forum. I tried to search both forums (Amex and Hyatt) but no luck. Was wondering if there is anyone had any luck with pre-paid online and trigger the cb?
Planning on either Hyatt Hua Hin or Andaz Jomtien, and try to book through Emyr as recommended by Rob above which seems to be a safer bet.
Cheers.
Works fine, the hotels take payments locally within a few days of booking so as long as they are on the list you’re good.
Worst case you might have to call or email them if booking is a long way in advance.
Just happened to call AMEX and spoken to an agent and they confirmed pretty much align to what Stu_N shared.
The triggering point is the expenditure, regardless the time of booking.
+ accumulative spending counts towards the £250 threshold.
Both myself and my wife (supplementary card) had the offer.
We payed around £260 of our bill each on Amex last week and I just got both credits come through
