It appears flights to SSH appear to be not loaded or for sale for April 2024 onwards. Anyone have any info if they’ve cancelled the route or is it just a matter of waiting for them to be released?
I think it’s seasonal, though I don’t know when they stop – you’d think April would be a peak money-spinner.
None of Gatwick summer has been released yet
Not sure if this will be a year round route but I’d be surprised if they didn’t run it through April to catch the Easter traffic
Last Sunday in March is the end of the Winter timetable.
Well it’s the Saturday and the Sunday is the start of Summer
And also Easter Sunday. (Easter is early next year which is catching some people out)
Not me, I have some nice stays booked on IHG points – though of course IHG might now decide these are a mistake and cancel them!
When would they typically release the summer flights? I guess these seasonal routes don’t follow the 355 days rule for avios seats.
It depends when BA finishes finalising routes for a particular season, there’s no hard and fast rule. Quite often some of them are released at T-355, others can be much later, especially of course if it’s a new or resurrected route.
Similar but OT. does anyone know when easyJet will release their next batch of flights and how far they are likely to go to?
Heathrow usually releases at T-355 and their “core” summer routes seem to follow this based on what flew last year
Gatwick releases in a batch – last year summer was released in October IIRC but it might be earlier this year now they’re more establishedas @NorthernLass says other routes can be added at any time , usually reported here in the forum and/or an article if it’s anything particularly interesting
Bumping up an old post, looking for SSH BA flights and holidays autumn / winter 2024, not trying to use points. Still no availability after March 2024.
Any ideas? Is the route being dropped or when are they likely to appear?
