Have a booking this Tuesday at the Park MGM in Vegas which I belatedly found out is part of Hilton. I booked it via THC to trigger two Hilton offers – £200 travel on Platinum business and £50 when you spend over £300 (or something like that) – and payment was taken at time of booking. Will I get points, night or status honoured – there wasn’t anywhere to add Hilton number during booking process or afterwards? (I seem to remember reading somewhere that Amex Travel is via Expedia). Maybe there is a workaround? Was thinking of using giving the check-in clerk $20 and instead of asking for upgraded room, ask for status to be honoured.
Many thanks.
With Hilton specifically there’s usually a field during the checkout phase that enables you to input your HH number. I’ve done this on a few occassions and have always gotten points/status recognised. If you missed it maybe give CS a call and see if they can add it in manually?
