My husband and I have just flown LHR to Phoenix on our first leg of a 2-4-1 that has been moved a few times.
For some reason we have both been credited with 140 Tier points plus Avios.
I have also suddenly had my Tier points jump from 440 to 880!
Will this be corrected automatically by British Airways? My end of year is October 8th and I have a flight booked return to Glasgow in order to get the extra 10 points I need to retain silver.
I think I wouldn’t be the only one that would say “ssshhh”.
Some you win, some you lose Ey.
I’d say 50% of Avios bookings this year have triggered this. My 14 year old is now Silver.
Happened to us twice this year. You can expect the same TP credit for the return flight. Helped me renew Gold and OH is Silver for the first time.
