Switching Frequent Flyer Numbers

I currently have AA Platium Pro (OW EMERALD) which is coming to end in May. I have made a number of BA bookings for the rest of 2024 and have attached my AA FF number to those bookings in order to get free seat selection at time of booking (i am currently only BA BRONZE).

My question is can i change my FF number to BA at some point either at counter check-in or in the lounge back to BA in order to collect the AVIOS & TIER POINTS??

Yes – you can do it at check-in or before online, but not via BA- try via Finnair or Royal Jordanian websites.
