Many people talk about it on the gold forum on Facebook.
T5 (especially the F lounge) is always like an oven, any time of the year, it’s always so hot.

It’s really not nice getting sweaty before a long flight. Surely they could make temperature little more comfortable and then they save money on heating too!!

I’ve never found any part of T5 to be hot let alone excessively hot.

    Temperature is a personal thing.

If it was turned down there will be complaints that it’s too cold.

I’ve left the F lounge (and galleries) to sit in the terminal before as it was just too hot.

The F lounge in particular can be unbearable and the temperature difference to the A gates must have been several degrees centigrade at its worst.

I had to put my jacket back on sitting at A18 a fortnight ago, was quite chilly.

Agreed, always baffles me when it’s so hot. Surely it’s better to go a little too cool so people can layer up if necessary; it’s nigh impossible to cool down in a place that’s too warm!

Young people don’t layer up anymore. You see it everywhere – Canada Goose wearable duvet over a crew neck tshirt. Same at home, many going around in tshirt and shorts all year round and relying on central heating to allow for that.
