Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club T5 lounges : one gold, one silver, two non-status. How to?

  • 113 posts

Upcoming flight out of T5. All on the same booking PNR.

One gold (me), one silver, two non-status passengers.

The Silver pax wants to experience the First lounge.

Is it possible for me (Gold) and my friend (Silver) to check in the two non-status pax in our group to the Galleries Club lounge first, and then the two of us go to the First lounge?

Yes, although your silver friend may be disappointed 🙂

This assumes you’re not flying in Club anyway othwrwise your non status friends would be in the lounge via that.

But why not Stay with your friends in the club lounge?

Besides you’ll have already used your guesting priviledge to get one of your other friends into the club lounge and the F lounge receptionist will see that you’ve done that.

One of the non status pax can pretend to be the silver (may need some coaching)

Considering no one looks at your passport and knows what you look like at the lounge reception …

Unless the status passengers are male and the non-status passengers female 🤣

A female….? What on earth is that in 2023?

Loving the humour on this thread, but also the practical tips!

You’re absolutely right on two things:
First Lounge will be a disappointment. Not that much more from Club it looks like, especially as the ordering menu has been removed it looks like.

And no-one checks pictures/passports so at check-in we can just split off. And then once the disappointing First lounge tour is over, we’ll return to the Club lounge to join our friends 😂
