Does anyone have experience of taxis from ANU? Should I book ahead or just pick one up at the airport? Flying Virgin tomorrow, staying @ The Royalton. Thanks.
Just agree a price and you are good to do it on arrival. USD usually fine.

Yeah we just picked one up at the airport. I seem to remember none took credit card though and we had to pay in physical $. We stayed at St James resort which is about a 40 min drive and it cost $40 or thereabouts (oct last year).

Many, many times. No need to book, you just exit, find the lectern with taxi dispatcher stationed at it and tell them where you want to go. They assign you a taxi and the rate is set by the government.
