Forums Other Destination advice Thailand prescription drugs permit issue

Hi Everyone. I’m trying to register an account at the Thai Embassy website to allow me to take my prescription drugs into Thailand.
In order to set up the account a ” one time password” ( OTP) is sent to my email address to verify.
Each time this happens I submit the OTP I’ve received but the response from the website is ” OTP not valid”.
I’ve tried different browsers and devices with no success.
Has anyone else had any experience of using this website?
I’m starting to panic a bit as my holiday is only a few weeks away…

    Possibly…
Unfortunately I have to take enough medication to fill a small suitcase especially as they all have to be in their original packaging.
I’m hoping the website issue is because it’s the weekend and not down to ” user error”.

When I went to Thailand in 2018, I just went through with my medication, only two small boxes. Had the NHS prescription paper with me just encase but no one checked anyway. Out of a group of 25 of us, no one got stopped or anything

Maybe not the best advice to give, but if you screenshot the website when it’s failing or record screen and keep it on your phone, I’d forget about it (bring the piece of paper pharmacies can give you! )

Just to update…the website now works as long as either a laptop or desktop are used. The latest version of Chrome is also required.
    Thanks for the suggestions.
