Had email this morning from BA regarding a cancelled Latam flight from SCO to ZCO booked using avios.
Latam app had already placed us on another flight automatically which didn’t work.
No options for alternatives showing in MMB
Called BA silver line and spoke to an agent who surprisingly new exactly what to do, despite admitting this was thier first Latam booking she had delt with.
Consequently, we have been moved with no charge to an earlier flight which works for our connections.
I know this is what is supposed to happen, but it’s still a nice feeling to be a satisfied BA customer, albeit for the short term.
Nice to hear a positive story for a change 🙂

Exactly, we are all too quick (me included) to share bad experiences with Airlines, CC companies et al, but don’t share the good ones.
So there were no options in MMB through LATAM’s website?

On the app, I didn’t check the website.
In the Latam app I had already been placed on the later flight with no notification or msg.
I guess its automated.
I booked this through BA.

The problem with BA is not the lack of positive stories. The problem is they are consistently inconsistent with their service. I don’t want to be playing a roulette every time I fly.
